Thanks for the kind words about the report I sent you yesterday. You’re Welcome!
As I have learned different internet marketing strategies over the years, I always come back to how they can relate to eBay sellers. List Building is no different.

In fact, some of you are asking the same question…

“As an eBay seller, WHY should I pay attention to something like building a mailing list?”

Your mailing list is a very powerful tool that helps build relationship with not just your customers… but those that just visit your listings and never bid!

Your goal quickly shifts from just selling a product… to getting eBay visitors to join your mailing list. Why?

So you have an opportunity to build relationship with them. People are much more likely to buy from someone they trust.

When your goal, then, is to get them to join your mailing list… and you learn the skill of selling to that list – suddenly whether or not your listings sell on eBay isn’t so important anymore. You are more concerned with harnessing the traffic from your auctions.

Look at it this way…
Let’s say you have an item listed on eBay and you are thinking you’ll get $40 profit once it sells.

Scenario #1:
In the first scenario, you don’t have a mailing list or a blog. You are solely listing items on eBay for your business.
You are happy to have made an easy 40 bucks… and hope the buyer considers your items for future purchases.

Scenario #2:
In this scenario, you have a mailing list… and you have a system in place to drive those visiting your auctions to a webpage that gives them an incentive to join your list.
{"id":195,"date":"2010-04-01T00:26:34","date_gmt":"2010-04-01T08:26:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jennihunt.com\/blog\/?p=195"},"modified":"2010-04-01T00:26:34","modified_gmt":"2010-04-01T08:26:34","slug":"an-excellent-question-you-should-be-asking-about-your-ebay-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jennihunt.com\/blog\/an-excellent-question-you-should-be-asking-about-your-ebay-business\/","title":{"rendered":"An Excellent Question You Should Be Asking About Your eBay Business"},"content":{"rendered":"
Thanks for the kind words about the report I sent you yesterday.
