Lisa Thompson, founder of Faith Journey Bible Studies, has been a Christ follower for thirty seven years. She discovered over ten years ago that her heart was longing to connect with the disconnected women in her community and launched out by beginning a Bible study in her neighborhood. As she shopped for appropriate study guides, Lisa also became aware of her own passion to study and teach the Bible, and began writing the Faith Journey curriculum as a result. She is passionate about reaching out to and encouraging women in all faith places to be transformed through an active and authentic study of God’s Word. Her heart is to meet women where they are at through neighborhood Bible studies, help them discover the power of their faith journey stories, and encourage them to answer God’s call to live actively for Jesus Christ by serving the needs of those less fortunate in their communities. If Lisa is not running around after her kids, you are bound to find her in one of the many local coffee shops hanging out with women encouraging and listening to their great stories of faith! Lisa has been married to her husband Robb for 22 years, they have four children, and call Folsom, California home.
